Romeo Must Die

I really enjoyed this movie! It's a shame that Aaliyah is no longer with us, but this was a fantastic movie.

The fight scene between Jet Li and Russell Wong was pretty good. I didn't really like DMX in this movie, but Anthony Anderson was pretty funny when he gets beat up and Delroy Lindo was good too.

I loved the football scene as well. How cool was that! And man, the cars that they all had, that's blardy awesome! Dim sum! Oh Dim sum!! LOL!! It's entertaining and a good action flick at the same time! Love the music :)

Shallow Hal

It's pretty good. It was weird seeing Anthony Robbins in a movie though. One of those self esteem boosters and stuff. It was sooo funny when he made Jack Black's character see the inner beauty in people. Imagine if something like that can actually happen...

But it was funny still, like how he was baffled when strange things happened. I loved how Jason Alexander's character was against averything that Hal was doing. It was so funny.

Anyway, it's a funny movie to watch. Gwyneth Paltrow is pretty hot too... in her skinny form :D

Showtime

What can I say... but... It's Showtime!!! :)

Hilarious! Was a really funny movie! Eddie Murphy was so funny! I loved how in his personal time in front of the camera, he always had something to do and Robert De Niro just sat there. That was so funny!

I loved how Murphy skidded off the hood of the car and then left one massive scratch mark! That was soo funny!! And seeing De Niro drive a hummer! Hahahahaha!! What people do for ratings. Hilarious!

Soapdish

Ahh, the movie where I first really noticed Teri Hatcher... even though she had a relatively small role. But man, Elisabeth Shue is hot!!

It's a funny movie, kinda slapstick comedy, but it was rather enjoyable!! Sally Field got a little annoying but Kevin Kline was funny as well as Whoppi Goldberg. And then there's Kathy Najimi. I didn't even realise it was her.

Basically, this movie is about a soap opera that runs and the star of the show is quite hard to work with and always wins an award at the golden globes. One of her co-stars, played by Cathy Moriarty is jealous and wants her thrown off the show. So she plays her sex appeal cards upon Robert Downey Jr's character to try and further her career, only it backfires when they hire a new girl who turns out the star's daughter and is even better!

Interesting turn of events as the cast has their own soap opera happening. Funny to watch :)

Spaceballs

One of my all time favourite movies. One of my all time favourite Mel Brooks movies as well! It's awesome!!

I loved how they made a send up on so many different shows in the one movie. Kinda like the scary movie of the past. LOL!! Rick Moranis was pretty good!! He was definitely the perfect person to play Dark Helmet! :D

Bill Pullman and John Candy were awesome together. And who can forget Daphne Zuniga. Never ever shoot her hair! LOL!!

Basically, the princess runs away from her wedding and gets captured and then a retriever gets called in to save her. And in their journey, they run into some friendly faces... like Yoda... I mean... Yoghurt. LOL! This movie cracks me up!

"I see you Schwartz is as big as mine", "It's Mega maid, she's gone from Suck to Blow". Hahahaha!! Kills me everytime!!

The Big Hit

Hahaha. I thought this was pretty good. A good combination of comedy and action.

It was funny seeing how soft and gentle Mark Wahlberg's character was yet, he's a professional hitman/mobster you know the drill :D

Lou Diamond Phillips was alright. I kinda expected more, as well as Antonio Sabato Jr... then again, I kinda expected less from him. LOL! Probably because you only really recognise him as an underwear model.

And of course, you have the two babes. One I would say is definitely a babe, and the other... well... she's just ditsy! China Chow is a babe! As for Christina Applegate, well, you can work that out! :D

It's a good movie to watch! Rather fun! :) Especially if you have a buster buster buster 2000 LOL!!

The Family Man

Wow, what a rude awakening! To be sent to a time of "what if" and being forced to live it until you get to the point where you're actually satisfied and then you get sent back to reality.

Basically, Nicolas Cage's character gets transported into a new time and space where he didn't go off to college and he stuck around with his girl friend played by Tea Leoni and ended up marrying her. He had a few kids and well, life was different. No longer was he working nor living in the city, but he was in the burbs, just getting by on a poor wage, making ends meet.

And when he gets to the point where he's finally settling in and getting things together and also almost reclaiming his old position by fate, the angel, played by Don Cheadle sends him back and he's lonely again. What he does after... well... you need to watch and find out. It's pretty good!

The Fifth Element

Fantastic! Nyum nyum's multipass!! :P

BZZZZ!! Okay, so Chris Tucker was a litle annoying but I think he was the perfect character for the role! And I thought Bruce Willis was good! I loved how he handled the situations he was in. Like when he was getting robbed at his door step. LOL!!

But come on... no offense to Milla Jovovich because she is really hot, but she's sooo not the supreme being... she's a surfboard! (guys would know what I mean). She needed just a little more umph if you know what I mean.

The story and the movie itself was pretty good. And the special effects were awesome. And that opera singer, man can she sing!! Definitely worth watching!!!

The Goonies

A classic movie. I loved it. I think this was one of my favourite movies as a kid. Full of adventures and surprises. Basically, a group of kids goes in search of treasure after discovering a map in the attick. They try to find the treasure to save their house from being demolished and when they get caught up with criminals, everything gets a little exciting.

Who would have thought that it was Sean Astin in this movie! And man was Corey Feldman young!! Not to mention Martha Plimpton!! And did you notice who was already bald? That's right. Joe Pantoliano.

I loved the gadgets that Jonathan Ke Quan was carrying around. Ahhh, the joys of old home made devices! It was an awesome movie though. I loved the adventure and the treasure hunt. What was good was seeing some of the deleted scenes on the DVD because it actually explains some of the movie. There was a scene where there was this giant Octopus that was cut out... but at the end of the movie, Plimpton's character mentioned the octopus... there were a few other things like how the map got burnt etc. Really good! Definitely worth watching!!

The Lion King

Ahh, one of Disney's best.

I liked this. The animals were drawn well and things had curves. A perfect tale for kids. It explores so many facets of life and helps kids with understanding death a little bit.

The music was fantastic and the colouring schemes applied were also really good. I guess it helps to explain the "circle of life". Definitely one for the family. I think the characters were well developed and they all play an important part in the story. I love how it incorporates old tales like how the stars are our ancestors looking upon us.

The Mask

Hahahaha! So funny!! I have to admit, I think this was when Cameron Diaz looked the best! She had curves!!!

Jim Carrey was fantastic! I loved his split personality when he played The Mask. It was awesome. I loved that whole dance scene when he got the cops dancing on the street! Hahahaha. So funny.

Peter Greene was annoying, but I think he was the perfect person to use to play the villan. But basically, Carrey finds a mask that transforms him into the god of pranks/jokes or something of that effect, I forgot what the shrink said... and like, he goes and terrorises the town with fun and laughter because he's pretty much indestructible when he has the mask on.

Really funny movie! Definitely should see it!

The Mask of Zorro

I liked this movie. It's got that sass to it that gives it a good story. You feel the adventure as you watch it. Anthony Hopkins is pretty good and I like how he teaches Antonio Banderas to become Zorro. I thought that whole training sequence was really good.

But I didn't quite like Catherine Zeta-Jones. She annoys me and when Zorro was carving his Z... he should have cut her hair along with the dress!! LOL!!

Anyway, I thought it was a fun movie to watch. Give it a go!

The Score

Hmm, what an interesting movie. Edward Norton is a fantastic actor! I love how he was acting as a spastic person and a crook at the same time. Brilliant diversity in skill!

Robert De Niro was also pretty darn good! For someone his age, he's pretty mobile in terms of the stunts he was able to pull off. Angela Bassett only had a small role in this movie, but man, I reckon she could have played the cat burgler cause of how beefy she is!!

But basically, it's about a cat burgerler going for his last heist but you know... he may be set up or double crossed... but it's interesting when you see the out come! It's not the best movie, but give it a go.

The Birdcage

Hysterically funny!!

I swear, Nathan Lane is like... the perfect person to play a gay man! LOL!! No offense, but his voice and stuff suits it well. Robin Williams is awesome! It's good how he can handle so many different roles!

Basically, the son of both the above in the movie, played by Dan Futterman, is in love with the daughter (played by Calista Flockhart) of a senator (played by Gene Hackman and Dianne Wiest). And when they aren't told that the boyfriend is the son of two gay men... all hell breaks loose when the come for dinner and the media finds out.

Hank Azaria is awesome in this movie. He plays the clumsy house maid/chef etc. He's so good with voices! It's cool!!

You definitely should watch this movie... it's so funny!!

Transformers - The Movie

Fantastic!! It's one of my favourites.

The autobots vs the deceptacons! How good were they drawn! OMG, this is awesome!! And the soundtrack rocks! Brings back old memories!! And the first appearance of Optimus Prime... what a moment!! It was awesome, well, not the first scene, but when Optimus just gets to Earth and starts blasting away. So good!!

It's sad, but I can almost recite the movie word for word. LOL!! And when Devastator is forming, how good was that scene?? Just awesome!! You definitely should watch this! Buy this even!! I know I have it on DVD. Even has the original video clip by Stan Bush!

Monster Inc

Loved it!! You know, I'm just one big kid at heart, but this movie is for all ages.

Even though it's about monsters, I think it's quite good for kids. They'll learn about both good and evil in a way.

I do like the story though, generating power through laughter rather than screams. That's pretty ingenious! And the whole doors thing was pretty cool. I thought the voice actors were perfect for the characters as well! I don't think it would have worked without John Goodman and Billy Crystal!

Godzilla

Okay, so it starred my favourite actor, Matthew Broderick... but the movie was pretty poor.

Sure the special effects were pretty good, but the story wasn't that interesting. Sure it's been remade to death but it was just alright. Nothing too special. I mean, it could have been so much better. You need so much to save this movie... The Godzilla fans would really hate this...

Can't Hardly Wait

Awww, this was silly. It's a typical teeny bopper movie. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays the recently broken up girl who everyone is trying to hit on... but when she mistakens the intent of Ethan Embry, she humiliates him in front of everyone and well, it gets interesting.

But it's the moments that lead up to it that was funny. Seth Green also plays the typical white boy who tries to be black. Hahahaha. So funny. It's a no brainer. Entertaining. Stupid, but entertaining.

Blues Brothers 2000

Okay... this was bad... it wasn't good at all. Actually. It was just sad. The first one was good but this was just sad.

Even with the old crew and the music and stuff, it just didn't have that zest that it needed. The cameo appearances were okay, but it just didn't age well. The concept was lost and the competition at the end was lame. I wanted to enjoy it because I like the music... but I couldn't!!

Babe - Pig in the City

Awww, one for the family. Definitely a good movie for the family to watch.

It was quite entertaining. It wasn't as good as the first one, but still, something the kids will enjoy for sure. Watch the pig save the farm!!

Rollerball

It sucked! OMG how badly did this suck?? I couldn't stand it.

LL Cool J being sacrificial... Rebecca Romijn being the scapegoat... and Chris Klein being the star. It was just silly. I couldn't buy into it. The whole fixed sports thing just didn't do it for me.

It was just lame, the action wasn't all that great and the story was silly as well. I don't recommend it at all! If the movie was supposed to show the ugliness of sports and ratings... well... it didn't even show that too well cause it was masked by how poorly it was delivered!

One Hour Photo

Okay... how freaky is this movie??

To think that someone is capable of endulging in your life through your photos. It kinda makes you wonder about who you can or cannot trust with photos.

Robin Williams was fantastic. Every single emotion... and when he was in her house... so good. Man it's freaky. Just his wall and all the photos he's taken over the years is freaky. It makes you think twice about who you take your photos to.

It's a good movie to watch. Really opens your eyes to the possibilities!!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding

I liked it.

Nia Vardalos was pretty good but it was good to see how John Corbett was such a good sport with the whole Greek thing. I loved her cousins who taught him how to say things that were sooo wrong. LOL! It was pretty funny.

One thing I've learnt from this whole thing... Windex will cure pimples!! LOL!! You should see it, it's a good laugh!

The Hot Chick

So good!!! Rob Schneider is hilarious. It's kinda scary to know he can play a woman really well. Really scary. All the manerisms and stuff... freaky

Rachel McAdams is hot!! She can't really play a guy though. LOL! And Anna Faris is so funny. I think it's just her look!

Basically, over a pair of magical earrings, a girl switches body with some dude who's a petty thief. Now, she has to try to get her body back before everyone finds out. It's so good. You should check it out! Keep an eye out for the cameo appearances :)

40 Days and 40 Nights

This is so good. It's true though. I don't think any guy can really go 40 days without... you know. Hehehe.

Josh Hartnett could have made it actually... but his screwed up friends just pushed him to the limit. And when they put his challenge up on a porn site, it was like... hell because the girl he liked... found it... and thought so much less of him. Shannyn Sossamon is hot though. Going 40 days without even being tempted would have been hard!!

Very funny movie to watch! Definitely recommend it!

James Bond - Die Another Day

Well, I enjoyed it. The special effects were good. And well, even though I didn't really like Pierce Brosnan, I thought it was pretty good.

Halle Berry was alright... but her introduction scene into the movie was silly. I did like the whole ice thing and the castle. That was pretty cool (no pun intended). Imagine if a place like that really exists... how awesome would that be? It would suck when it starts to melt, but ice that fortified... and gets thicker with every coating of water that freezes over, it would be pretty good.

If you're a bond person, watch it. It's quite good.

Changing Lanes

Hmm, interesting movie...

Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson are both driven to do things they do not want to do. All because of an accident that leads to situations that changes both their lives.

It really goes to show you how one little thing can affect 2 people in drastic ways. Simple things leads to disasterous affairs and if you don't stop every now and then to take a break, you won't notice things fly right past.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. The characters were all well developed and it was really interesting! You should definitely see it. Mind you, it is a little slow, but that goes with most good dramas.

Hated it!

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

OMG... how stupid!!! But hilarious!!

It's one of those really stupid funny movies that you just watch for laughs! Mira Sorvino sounds like a guy though... dunno if it was her playing dumb... but man it was bad! Lisa Kudrow was hysterically funny. Her formula for glue was good though. :P

And Janeane Garofalo with her quick burning paper. LOL! So funny!!! I enjoyed this flick. It was dead set stupid, but it was funny.

Picture Perfect

Hmm... I dunno.

Lame? Silly? Superficial? Jennifer Aniston went for a role that just captialised on her looks. I mean... come on... to appear unavailable just to hook up with someone that's the dream of her life so she can appear "naughty" is just silly.

And to think a guy out there would even pretend to be someone's gf to help them with that conquest... that's so dumb! I mean... who would do that to torture themselves? It's self inflicting pain! I dunno... I didn't really like this movie all that much. Jay Mohr was alright but Kevin Bacon really made you want to hit him... It's characters like that that gives guys a bad name.
