Crash

This was an awesome film! Simply outstanding!!

It's one of those movies where... it talks about the lives of so many people... yet in each bizarre way... they are all interconnected. Unlike Love Actually, this one is a real drama. It's not a comedy or a romantic love story, but a really good drama. It's about racism and karma I believe... It was so interesting to see how the lives of so many strangers... were all intertwined!

The actors they had in this film were awesome as well! Sandra Bullock didn't really have a big role in this movie. She didn't get much screen time at all. But it was all good. Don Cheadle was pretty cool. I liked the ending and how he handled the situation. Matt Dillon pissed me off big time though. His character was a complete sleeze bag. I mean, when you see him save that woman only for him to realise that she's the same woman he touched the day before... you would think... how awkward must that be!

And then there's Brendan Fraser... who's a white man, just trying to impress the black community to obtain their votes. The politics... it's always about politics! I did find it funny to see Tony Danza telling Terrance Dashon Howard that his speech for the TV series they were filming in the movie that he wasn't speaking "black" enough and needed to retake the shot. But I liked the wife... Thandie Newton was amazing. Her reactions and the way she handled herself. It was so realistic.

Surprisingly, Ludacris wasn't a bad actor. For a Rap artist, he was pretty good. I think it was just in his element ;) And Larenz Tate, well... he was good. I liked the country song he composed! LOL! You have to hear it to know what I mean ;)

The character I liked the most... was the locksmith played by Michael Pena. His story to his little girl and that one defying moment. It was so good. So real. And Jennifer Esposito... she's got the bod I tell ya! And Ryan Phillippe, a person who stood for morals and protected someone from potentially being killed... freaks out in one defying moment and uncalmly does an act of injustice.

I have to admit, this movie was about Karma above everything. Especially how it ended with Loretta Devine's character. You'll just sit there and say... a nice soft touch to end the movie.

Definitely something to own on DVD too! Cause I know I'll definitely watch it again to see if I missed anything. The way they were ALL linked... was amazing.
