HAHAHAHA!!! It's one of those silly stupid movies, but it's just sooo goood!!

HAHAHAHA!!! This movie is just a crack up!!

Definitely worth the $5 it cost me to get it on DVD :) A collectable! :) Give it a go! It's awesome!

Melinda and Melinda

I wasn't expecting anything when I was watching this movie. It's a little confusing because you have to keep track of 2 stories with pretty much the same main character, Melinda.

It had it's moments of comedy but the movie itself was more astonishing than comedic. Just listening to the BS that comes out of their mouths was just so... entertaining.

Basically, you have 4 creative people who are either trying to discuss how they are going to make a movie. And since there's 2 people with really strong opinions, they ask kinda tell their story and the 2 other people add pointers here and there. Now, it's not a narrated movie or anything, rather, you see both "though up" movies side by side as the scene changes and you just have to keep track of which Melinda they are talking about.

It's very interesting!! Will Ferrell is pretty cool as well. It's a more serious role for him rather than his usual comedic routine. Radha Mitchell was fantastic as she played 2 completely different roles in the one movie.

It's definitely worth checking out!

Hostage

Pretty good! It was interesting to see how out of control certain people get.

Bruce Willis is still pretty darn cool! The house was amazing though. Rich people I tell ya! But to have crawl spaces throughout the entire house is kinda scary.

What's even more freaky is that the thieves managed to get into the house without any sort of alarm going off. Sure, they had security systems and all, but what's the use if it's all without some guard.

And you have to admit one thing... this movie was about product placement. Esp Nokia phones and Tag Heuer Watches. But the movie was good! Go watch it ;)

Are We There Yet?

Hmm... what can I really say?

It was... lame. And the kids really irritated me within like 10mins of the movie. The storyline wasn't all that good and I don't see the obsession with large 4wds at all!!

I do admit it was humourous at times, but very predictable. You sooo saw it coming. I think I'm over Ice Cube comedy as well. Nia Long is hot though!! And the opening sequence with her flaunting her body... phoar!!

Anyway, mildly humourous, very irritating... as some kids are!

Star Wars - Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith

Awesome!! Simply Awesome!! Handsdown to George Lucas who was able to blend the technology, the clothing and everything with this episode to the next one. And although you know exactly what's going to happen, seeing it for the first time is still so good!!

And it's good that it was shown in the order that it was because it makes the future episodes more interesting. Like when Luke finds out that *beep* is his sister... if you watched episode 3 before you watched 4-6, that particular scene wouldn't have been as good! I think I am going to re-watch episodes 4-6 though ;)

And Yoda... man he's cool! When he walked in that room and just simply moved his arm... classic!!! That was soo funny!! Ewan McGregor was pretty good too! I like how they made it realistic... like when he kicked the metal and realised it... hahaha. Natalie Portman is hot!! I'm not a Hayden Christensen fan though. He's got a weird look about him.

Anyway, you all know what's going to happen in this movie! Just watch it! It's awesome!

Sahara

This was a fun movie. Matthew McConaughey and Steve Zahn are pretty cool. Well... Steve Zahn is awesome. He's got that comedic look about him and he's just pretty cool.

I didn't quite like Penelope Cruz... she annoys me a little... and even though his role was small, William H. Macy was awesome!!

Basically, these guys are treasure hunters (except for Penelope who was a doctor). Now, Matthew's character gets a tip about something he's been searching for for years and they went off to find it. In the mean time, an epidemic was breaking out and the WHO (World Health Organisation) was out investigating.

Little did they know... someone was actually up to something. It's quite fun to watch. Give it a go!

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Ah, what an awesome movie!! It's definitely one of those really geeky movies!! But it's so fun!!

I feel like reading the books again after this!! The depressing robot was so damn funny too!! And the "thought slappers" scene. Hahaha. Martin Freeman was the perfect choice for this role as well!

It's awesome. Infinite Improbability Drive. Hahaha. You just have to love it! It was a very very fun movie! Definitely worth watching!! (If you don't get the jokes... it's time to turn into a geek! hehehe)

Kingdom of Heaven

SNORE!!!! Man, I fell asleep watching the first hour of this movie. Okay... well.. the first 15-20mins were okay... then it got REALLY slow... so slow that I could not keep my eyes open!

But the final battle scene saved this movie from total disaster! The strategy and the way things were filmed were so amazing! If this movie was just the battle scene spanned out another hour so you know exactly what they were planning and thinking, I reckon people may have enjoyed it more!

Orlando Bloom was pretty good. I think he must be really into these sorts of movies... I say... watch the last hour. Doesn't matter if you don't know what's going on... it's all you need to watch!

Hahaha. I swear, Seann Willam's Scott's character is like Homer Simpson! He gets dumber with each episode/movie. It's heaps good!! This was really funny!

It was disappointing knowing that the other cast members didn't come back for this movie, but it was still really funny!!! Jason Biggs is still so accident prone! It's awesome!! Alyson Hannigan is pretty darn funny too! Just picturing them getting married makes me laugh. Well.. their characters anyway ;p hahahaha.

Ah, Steve Martin rules! This movie was alright. One of those family movies... but it was quite funny.

It did have an awesome cast. Though, I wish there were more scenes with Piper Perabo in it. She's so... sweet looking ;) Hilary Duff is really cute as well! And well... even though he's uncredited... Ashton Kutcher was actually on the show!!

A family of 12... and a father with a new job... how will he manage? You just have to watch!

Daredevil

Er... Let down! Total Let down!!

You would expect so much more when a marvel character comes to life... but man... this was horrible!!

They could have done so much more!! Some of the special effects were pretty good... but even the action scenes weren't all that impressive. I did like the fight scene in the park between daredevil and electra... but that's with them in normal costume. I guess I couldn't have expected that much because it was a Ben Affleck movie... but then Jennifer Garner was in this!!!

Oh well, decide for yourself. I say... it wasn't all that good at all!

Down With Love

Wow, what a suprisingly good movie. I liked this a lot. It was very... posh and all, but it was really funny as well. And the twists were perfect! You'd lose track after a while, but it's so good!!

Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor were the perfect couple to use in this movie. They made their characters feel so real and it was just right.

Basically, it's about a writer who writes a book called "Down with Love" that becomes a huge success and when a journalist tries to interview her... somehow... something always gets in the way and it never happens. After a while, when the book gets so popular that the playboy charms of this journalist no longer works... things between the two start to heat up. Planned? Only the movie will tell! kekekeke. It's fantastic! You just have to watch it!

Dumb and Dumberer - When Harry Met Lloyd

Insanely stupid!!! Man, was this movie was sooooo dumb!! In a very dumb way!!

But I must give credit to Eric Christian Olsen who plays Harry (previous played by Jim Carrey) because he was able to mimic every little thing that the "older" Harry does in the original movie! It was amazing. All the little quirps, the habits... how he moved... it was soo much alike!! You really thought Jim Carrey had a twin... or a younger self that was able to impersonate him perfectly!

But I must say, this movie is a no brainer. It's good to watch when you're stressed and you feel like watching something that would make you laugh.

Elf

Hehehe. This was funny. You will get annoyed with Will Ferrell's acting after a while because it's all the same... but it's still humourous to see him act like a complete idiot.

A normal baby that finds itself in Santa's Sleigh and then gets brought up by the elves and taught the way of an elf. It starts to occur to him that it may not be normal when he finds that he's much much bigger than everyone else. What was really interesting was seeing him build things and move as fast as an elf when he's not one!

Anyway, he goes to try and find his real father and that's when things get funny ;) You should check out what he does to the department store and stuff! hahaha. It's an Xmas film, but I guess it's enjoyable all year round.

The Fighting Temptations

As much as I would like to like this movie because I like Beyonce Knowles and the music was good... I didn't think this movie was all that good at all.

The story was weak. And the acting was so so. Cuba Gooding Jr could have done so much better. Sure they had an interesting cast of well known singers, but the story just wasn't all that good.

It's one of those movies that tries to be a feel good type movie... but doesn't really get there. I dunno, I didn't think it was all that good. Just normal.

Freaky Friday

Ah, one for the family to watch. It wasn't too bad. Pretty funny.

Jamie Lee Curtis rules. She's so damn funny. And when you see her have her body switched over... it's pretty funny to see her act as a teenager.

Lindsay Lohan was alright. I dunno, it was amazing to see how well she held onto that bed in the morning. Hahaha.

But from now on... I'm never going to read out a fortune cookie outloud... I'll just read it in my head!!

Honey

I liked this movie. Maybe it's because I liked the dance sequence and the music... or maybe it's cause I just like Jessica Alba ;)

The DVD is pretty cool. It's got a hip-hop dance class thing on it that's pretty amusing.

Basically, the movie is about a freelance choreographer who gets picked up at a bar to do help out with the music video industry and end up making it big... until she refuses to sleep with the director and it goes down hill from there. But because she does not want to waste her talent, she tries to get her own studio and gets the community to help her out in a way she only knows how.

Give it a go, it's not that bad. One of those feel good type movies. Just... dance and music orientated.

Kill Bill

I liked it. It was pretty good. Chiaki Kuriyama made the movie for me. If it wasn't for her, I think I might have disliked the movie because it was rather silly and just overly bloody.

I did like the sword play and Uma Thurman did look quite good as she was riding down the streets of Japan with the katana at the back of her motorbike. I also liked how they showed Lucy Liu as a completely ruthless person. When she got up on that dinner table, that scene was awesome.

The initial fight scene with Vivica A. Fox was interesting though. I don't know... the animated scene was a little weird. Give it a go.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Hmm... I have mixed opinions about this movie. The special effects were really cool, but the movie never really climaxed. It was a flatliner. It didn't really go all the way to the point where something massive happened, rather, it felt as if it ended so abruptly.

Sean Connery is still cool, regardless of how the movie was, but it was really cool seeing all the super characters.

It was interesting that for such a movie, they didn't really use more well known actors. I reckon if they gave it a higher profile, it might have been really good.

Movie was just okay... nothing too special. Story wasn't all that good, special effects rocked.

Ridiculously silly, but entertaining! Definitely a chick flick though.

Man, I dunno what to say. Reese Witherspoon must like being blonde. This movie was really stupid. Just... bizarre! Jennifer Coolidge plays an idiot like she normally does. I think she's sooo suited for those roles. She's funny.

I say, if you want a no brainer and just want to laugh and say the occassional "OMG"... then give this movie a try.

A beautifully crafted movie!

It's a chick flick... kinda... well... just a really good drama! Story of four different relationships, yet, they are all somewhat tied together. It's an all star cast as well! That and a lot of really cool cameo appearances!

Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, Billy Bob Thornton, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Elisha Cuthbert, Claudia Schiffer, Shannon Elizabeth, Denise Richards, and many more!

And the song they had... hahaha. That was really funny! I like the department store scene where the present was getting wrapped ;). It's a dramatic romantic comedy, and it's good!

Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World

Simply Awesome!

I love these sorts of films. It was really interesting to see the strategy and tactics involved with warfare out at sea. You are so limited with resources for repair and there really is no where to run once you're shot down.

But what amazed me was how people react to certain situations. And how things were played out.

Russell Crowe was pretty good. I like the scene views as well. Nice movie! Definitely worth watching!!

Ooooh!! Really good movie!! I really enjoyed this!

Basically, it's about a guy who has one of those excessive compulsive disorders who loves everything to be super clean. He's a con artist who goes around setting up deals with people only to cheat them of all their money.

Now, issues starts to arise when his partner wants to go for something really big and his daughter decides she wants to know him better and spends more time with him. Things starts to go wrong for him when she joins them in a con...

It's very fun to watch what happens and what's even more interesting is the twists involved. Definitely worth the watch! Nicolas Cage is awesome!

The Matrix Reloaded

Ahh, this was cool. I loved the scene with all the Agent Smiths. That was pretty funny. It did get a little silly with Neo flying around like superman... it can only tell you that the final movie would be a display of completely disregard to power and they get super powerful and blow up or something.

It was interesting to see Zion and how that kinda ties into the whole movie.

The Architech at the end was bloody confusing!! Though, what I do like... is MTV's spinoff of that section! That was hillarious!! You need to watch it if you can find it. But this is a good movie.

I so hated it! I hated it with a passion!!

I didn't like the whole Zion scene or how it was based so much in Zion... and the end fight sequence... come on... for those who watch Anime, that was a classic Dragonball match between Goku and Vegita! It was crap!! I expected so much more of this film. I think it's because of that that I didn't like it.

I wish they didn't make it into one massive super battle because it just got stupid.

I just can't believe they ended the triology like that... Oh well... you decide! But I didn't like it at all!

The Medallion

I liked this movie!

Jackie Chan is just cool. I know you see it over and over again with him using props to do the impossible, but it's still so amazing! That and I like Claire Forlani!

It's one of those movies where it takes the fantasies of a kid and puts it into life. Immortality, super human powers... then again, the special effects were cool. It was a fun movie, but the story is very childish.

Hehehe. Well, I thought it was funny. Martin Lawrences's humour is an acquired taste. More like you need to like black comedy and watch it from a non-racist point of view. Take the jokes and stuff lightly.

But the person that made this movie was Steve Zahn. He's awesome. He's got the funniest parts. Lawrence is just too loud at times. It would be nice to just blend in. But basically, these two are security guards who find themselves in a pickle and set out to correct it!

The story of an Art Teacher with her own opinions who causes her students to think outside the box. Outside of tradition in fact... to escape the ways which women are so keen on entering... The class turns on her and she has to slowly gain their trust.

Kirsten Dunst plays someone that's so grotesque and she even looks the part. But I like Julia Stiles too. Maybe I just like people called Julia ;p hahaha!!

It's one of those feel good movies. Not for everyone. But it's all good.

Mystic River

Wow, a powerful movie. Sean Penn is so good.

The movie was good. It was interesting to see how childhood occurences affect a person for life.

This is a story of how childhood friends grow up and how acts in the past aspire people to do things. Also a case of taking such events and misunderstanding them. Assumptions leads to disasters. A very powerful movie. Tim Robbins was awesome. I think you definitely have to watch it.

Paycheck

Hmm, mixed opinion about this one. I thought it was okay. There were a few things that made you go "why did he do that?" And when you think about it... it's a little silly.

I mean, first of all, if you can use a system to erase memory, the logical thought would be, "after I get this project done, what's to say they won't erase my memory and not pay me at all?" Or be turned into a vegetable for that matter!

But the super computer he was working with, with the hologram and stuff, that was really cool! Yes, this is a Ben Affleck movie, but Uma Thurman is in it as well. I say, give it a chance. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that good either.

Shaolin Soccer

This movie is awesome! The special effects are a little over the top with a few things, but that's how it is with Chinese movies.

I loved it. Stephen Chow rules! I heard the Westernised version of this movie was censored slightly and they put shorts on the soccer player in the end instead of making him butt naked.

But the concept of the movie was pretty cool. Using Shaolin Kung-fu techniques to play soccer. How awesome is that. And of course, he did this movie with the aid of his best friend Man Tat Ng.

If you've seen Kung Fu Hustle, you need to watch this too!
