Something's Gotta Give

Ah, one of those feel good movies.

I enjoyed it. Jack Nicholson is cool. It was interesting how it pretty much evolved around younger people liking older people.

I love the sence where Nicholson's character looks at Diane Keaton naked and comes back with saying he's never seen a woman that age naked before. That was pretty funny.

It's an enjoyable feel good movie about relationships. Give it a go.

Stuck on You

It was okay. Wasn't super funny, but it was okay. The theme song though was by 3T. Just when you thought certain boy bands are gone, they come back to do a theme to a movie.

The movie was a little weird where by they grouped Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear together. Kinnear looks soooo much older and I know they explained why in the movie, but even then... it's just bizarre!

And some things are a huge AS IF! I mean... getting half of yourself stuck outside a bus... surely that's not going to happen!! But the filming part was funny... how they had to blue screen one out.

It does raise an interesting issue... for conjoined twins... what if the two have very different opinions and life ambitions? It's interesting to see what one does for the other in this movie. Give it a go... but be warned... Cher does play herself in this movie!

Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines

Just awesome! Bloody Awesome!

I loved this movie. Arnie has the best one liners!! He doesn't say much at all, but man, when he does, it's fantastic!

It's one heck of an action film and it does tie ends to a lot of stuff. It's amazing how they can just come up with such a story. And it's funny how they always send the original terminator back to help history instead of sending a somewhat "upgraded" model. Yes, I do realise that the newer models are all evil, but still, he should have some really cool upgrades at least. But you still gotta love it!

What's really amazing... is that Arnold Schwarzenegger got really buffed up to do this movie... and he ain't young anymore!

Underworld

I think I'm going to fall into the category with those people who just could not get into the story. Some people loved this movie, some people hated it. But I have to say I just could not get into the movie.

Yes yes, it was low budget and people were probably expecting a matrix type movie or something, but I just didn't find it all that interesting.

It's hard to say if the movie was that good or that bad because the things that this movie was about wasn't all that interesting to me. Well... it is but at the same time I really just couldn't get into the movie. Give it ago and see... I just thought it was boring. Kate Beckinsale just... couldn't do it for me this one time! Maybe if I was a little more into mythological creatures, I might have enjoyed this a little more. I'll give it another go one day and update this ;p

X-Men 2

Ah, this was pretty good... though, there were a few things that I didn't like at all!

Like the end sequence with the tidal wave... you would think that iceman would try and at least freeze the water. Or Storm to cause a few winds or something to help stop it without having to lose Jean Gray. I can't remember if that's the way the comic had it, I'm pretty sure it wasn't... but it was to a similar effect.

Iceman was very disappointing. It just annoyed me a little. But the special effects were awesome! And I can't wait for the next one! It's definitely worth watching... even though iceman sucked!

The Amityville Horror

Well, it wasn't as scary as I thought it was. It was very graphic... that's for sure!

I don't know, the movie didn't really do much for me. I'm not a horror movie fan, but even then, I enjoyed watching this movie. It was interesting to see Ryan Reynolds play a role where he's not playing some idiot or comedian.

And it was cool to see Melissa George again. I still remember her from Australian TV.

I kinda wished this movie had more of the loud noise from silence effects and stuff, but it really wasn't freaky or that suspenseful. Just very graphic. Give it a go and see, but I didn't think it was that good.

Center Stage

(Also as Centre Stage for us Australians)

I like this movie. I don't really like ballet, but man, the dedication that these people put in is amazing. The actors had to really learn ballet and some of them were from the American Ballet Company. I like the girls in this movie.

Amanda Schull was pretty hot. And her smile really does light up the room. It was awesome. Zoe Saldana is cool. I like her alot. She's got a cool personality in all the movies I've seen her in. Susan May Pratt is also pretty cool. I almost didn't recognise her from other movies that I've seen!

But this is a ballet movie. It was about these girls getting into the Company. I mean, yes, there were also guys who wanted in, but it was also about a renowned male ballet dancer producing his own ballet. It's just good. The music in this was awesome. I loved it.

Catch Me If You Can

I love this movie. It's even more amazing that it's based off a real story. I love the fact that such amazing stories happens in real life.

Christopher Walken is awesome. He didn't have that big a role, but he was awesome. Leonardo DiCaprio surprised me. He's quite good. I loved how he portrayed everything. Tom Hanks was good too. Man this movie was awesome!

Basically DiCaprio plays Frank Abagnale Jr, a kid who's forced into learning the tricks of the trade to get his way around. He played a con man who became who he wanted to be. A real pretender. He faked being a lawyer, a doctor, a pilot... and made fake cheques... I tell ya... he was good! Catching him wasn't easy... it's a fabulous story! Definitely worth the watch!

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

Wow. Those kids really are unfortunate!! But this definitely was a fun movie! Jim Carey is starting to annoy me a little... with his overacting and stuff, but without his character, I don't think this movie would have been as good as it was!

I really enjoyed it. The movie was heaps fun. I like the attributes of each of the characters. Did you know that Sunny was actually played by a set of twins? That's right! Kara Hoffman and Shelby Hoffman. I didn't believe it either. I guess they are following in the footsteps of the Olsen twins.

Anyway, give this movie a go. The things they get up to is pretty wild. Sometimes you even admit that they were pretty lucky. Like when they were on the train tracks!!

Bulworth

What a truely bizarre movie! A politician takes out a contract on himself... and knowing that he's going to die, he tells it like it is.

He tells the public what really goes on and at one point, i think he thinks he's black.

It's interesting what someone would do if they knew they were going to die. Warren Beatty was pretty good. He wrapped his tongue around a few things that makes you go... gah? And Halle Berry was just... so so. You know... usual stuff.

It's an interesting movie! You should check this one out!

Bulletproof Monk

Seann William Scott is so cool. He's so funny. I will always remember him for his stupid roles, but he does play an awesome character in this movie. That and he's quite versitile with his acting skills.

Chow Yun-Fat is also pretty good! This movie was heaps fun! It's a little far fetched with some of the stuff that happens, and the story has been done to death where the kung-fu master finds some deliquent with a good heart to protect some treasure that mustn't fall into the wrong hands, but even still, watching it was still heaps entertaining!

Bulletproof

Ah, a fun movie. I'm a little annoyed with Damon Wayan's voice, but you get used to it after a while. Adam Sandler was funny. His singing isn't all that bad either. Hahaha

The movie was alright. You would think that someone who gets shot in the head would die... but I guess some people are just lucky.

One thing for sure... you must be really game to become a police officer who goes undercover! Such a risky business to be in!

Bruce Almighty

What would you do if you were given God's powers for a day?!!?

It was interesting that they casted Morgan Freeman as God. Not that I'm racist or anything, I just thought it was a nice touch to an interesting movie. Having power is definitely something that's dangerous when used incorrectly!

Jim Carrey is quite the entertainer. He can do comedies and serious movies. I can't say I really like Jennifer Aniston anymore. She's... lost it.

But this was a funny movie! You just have to see for yourself! Cause that's the way the cookie crumbles!

Bringing Down the House

Yo yo yo! Sup fool! Tis one of those Black movies with talk you can't understand!!

The points are all out the window and I'm all twisted up in the game about this movie!

This movie points out one of the reasons why you should never have an internet relationship! You'll never know who'll end up at your door step! But even though it wasn't technically a black movie... it felt like one! Eugene Levy is awesome! I love the movies he's in. He plays the classic fool! I love it! And yes again... Steve Martin! But when he tried to be black... that was a tad annoying!

Queen Latifah adds an interesting element to the movie. It was good! The scene where she had a bitch fight with the taebo chick. That was awesome! But basically, she plays a con who claims she got framed and busted out of jail to get her name cleared. Sounds like trouble? Hell yes it is! Watch it and learn the moves!

Bowfinger

I loved it! This was so damn funny! I'm a sucker for comedies!

I loved the cast! Steve Martin is always a master at comedy and when you put him together with Eddie Murphy... what could go wrong?!?! And who can forget the temptress Heather Graham!

Basically, the story is about a movie director who tries to make a film with a big star in it, but not actually tell the star that he's in the movie. Instead, he stalks him and films it as he's being stalked.

They get into all sorts of trouble and when he's no where to be found, things start getting interesting!!

Billy Madison

You know... I think it would be fun... to have to go through school all over again!

And when you have a tutor like Bridgette Wilson... Hubba Hubba Hubba!!

But think about it... to be able to go through school again... how fun would Kindergarten be!!! I reckon I'd do it for fun. 1 week in each year. That would be awesome. And then a party after everyone!! Who wouldn't do it? It's typical Adam Sandler movie... well... one of his classic comedy movies ;)

Big Trouble in Little China

Ah! A classic movie!

I love it! One of those where they still have low budget special effects! But what can I say... for a movie that was made in 1986, it's fantastic!

Kurt Russell and Kim Cattrall. What a combo! I have to admit... Kim Cattrall was hot back then and she hasn't changed a bit since then! She's definitely aged well!

A fantasy type movie with monsters and secret worlds, and girls with Green eyes ;) One of those classic movies that's worth getting on DVD ;)

Big Fat Liar

Hehehehe!! Man, I liked this movie. So creative! Some of the lies were awesome.

But turning him Blue and then having the songs to match. Priceless!

I still picture Frankie Muniz as Malcom even though he plays a completely different character! But how adorable was Amanda Bynes!! She's sooo cute!!

I loved the movie. I like the cameo apperances of all the random people that came up. It was pretty good. It's a fun movie. You should definitely check it out. ;)

Bicentennial Man

Hmm. I liked it and at the same time... I wasn't all that impressed by it.

I think it would have been cruel to give robots emotions and the ability to think on it's own. Sure he wasn't "given" the ability, rather, a defect... but I reckon he should have been terminated. Heartless as it may sound. I don't think it was all that good to put him in a position where he can watch all his friends die before him. That's just cruel.

Sure he made many many robotic parts that can help normal humans... but I don't think it was all that worth it. Robin Williams was great. Both as a voice actor and as an actor. It was a little weird for them to use Embeth Davidtz over and over again over the generations... but I guess it made perfect sense to.

It was alright. I liked the piano piece. Give it a go... and if you know what piece it is or have the music sheet for it... let me know!

Bend it Like Beckham

Ah yes. One of those funny movies that has a unique freshness to it. That or I haven't seen enought west meats indian movies at all!

What's interesting is that I didn't even realise that it was Keira Knightley in this movie until she got really famous!

I have to say, I liked this movie. It was funny. It was interesting to see how things happen in certain cultures. Arranged marriages... needing approval for sports wear... not being allowed to reveal any part of your body... to be tied by all those rules must be hard.

Nevertheless, it's funny to see the lengths she goes to inorder to get herself out of things. Parminder Nagra was fantastic. Definitely worth watching ;)

As Good As It Gets

Fantastic Movie! Absolutely loved it!

What can I say... I'm a sucker for these feel-good movies. Jack Nicholson was great! And Greg Kinnear wasn't bad either. I liked Jack's character, he was very interesting. I loved how they trained the dog to be like him. That must have taken some time!!

Cuba Gooding Jr. added some spice to the movie by being his over the top self. He has this way of acting that's quite unique. I like it. And who can forget Helen Hunt. You know, I used to think she was really hot, but now... when you see them as a mom... you think to yourself... nah!!! (which was kinda what the movie portrayed a little!)

It's basically a story of 3 very different people, forming an unbelievably good friendship. Nice to watch!

Armageddon

Ah, Liv Tyler is so nice. She's just got that look... you know...

But you have to remember... this is also a Ben Affleck movie. He wasn't that bad... I guess this was before he got all big headed and stuff so it was still quite good and Bruce Willis' performance was really good!

The character I like the most is Steve Buscemi. You don't really notice him, but he normally has the best and most interesting roles! Usually he's like the killer or something, but he's the super brainiack instead!

It was good! The whole digging through the rock and stuff was a little bizarre, but I guess it works.

Any Given Sunday

One of the few football movies that I like!

Al Pacino was brilliant! He provided a brilliant ending to this movie! I loved it! Cameron Diaz was really good as well. You hate her guts in this movie, but she was good! You don't notice some characters until they make it big, but Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J were both in this movie and I have to admit, they weren't bad at all!

This movie goes behind the scenes of the football players. Into the politics that surrounds them and what's required of people. It goes into the heads of what players want and what managers have to deal with. It had a good mix of football and drama. Definitely worth watching!

Anastasia

For the kids, but very cool. Even though I didn't like all the art, I loved the music.

A story about the only surviving child of a Russian Royal family, having amnesia and forgetting her past. She's found by frauds who were trying to claim a reward for her to be brought back safely. Only thing is, she has to be taken to her grandmother for identification.

Along the way, the frauds find that... she isn't some actress that auditioned for a part, rather, she is the real deal... and things change.

A charming story. Good for the kids! And the theme song is sung by the late Aaliyah.

Analyze That

Usually sequels are bad, but I liked this one! Just Robert De Niro's acting skills in the first few scenes were awesome!!! Keeping the straight face even when the needle was jabbed into him! Classic!

But this time, they both help each other out... therapy wise ;p Billy Crystals' character has just lost his father and you know... the two talk. ;)

And what can be more humourous than a mob leader giving advice to a therapist? Heh.

What I liked the most, was how they brought back all the previous characters. I love when they do that!

Analyze This

Robert De Niro Rocks!!! I loved this movie. It was awesome!

A mob head getting therapy. And then getting all worked up over it in the middle of something. Hahahaha. I tell ya, being a therapist really requires having balls!!

Billy Crystal was pretty funny himself. Having a wife like Lisa Kudrow is a perfect complement to his character. So wacky ;) It's definitely worth watching. You get to see the inside of how a mob member thinks (well, hollywood style)

America's Sweethearts

Hmm... an alright movie. It wasn't too bad... but I have to say, It was a toss up. They were talking about things like Junket etc and I tell ya... no body really knows what a junket is!! Not unless you're in the business!!

If it wasn't for Julia Roberts and Billy Crystal, I probably wouldn't have watched it...

I have to admit, there were some funny scenes and stuff, but basically... it's just one big messy relationship between people who are chased around by the paparazzi all day.

The Last Shot

Interesting movie! It wasn't bad. It wasn't too good, but it wasn't bad either. Just a normal movie with some funny scenes.

At one point, in the very very beginning, you see a shot of someone and immediately, the person that registered to mind was Patrick Rafter. But when they zoomed in, you actually see that it was Matthew Broaderick. I was a little amazed. They don't look alike at all, but from that 1 angle... you would swear it was him!

Alec Baldwin looked pretty good in this movie. He looked as if he was younger... but what really cracked me up was Toni Collette. The moment she's at that dinner table and does what she does. That was so damn funny!

Basically, the movie is about the FBI, trying to catch some crooks, and when they thought closely about it... they could lure them out by making a movie... That's the basic plot without giving away too much. Everything is so tied up that you just have to watch and find out what happens ;)

Make sure you stay after the credits for just a bit ;)

Bring It On

Well, since I've mentioned it, I might as well review it too ;p

I liked this movie. The energy was so high in it. And man, Eliza Dushku is hot! She's so awesome! I liked her so much more than Kirsten Dunst.

Sure, this is a movie about Cheerleading, but it was upbeat, fun and energetic! I wish we had those types of cheerleading competitions in Australia. That would definitely be worth going to to watch!

Gabrielle Union is growing on me too. She's got personality! I like I like! And she definitely knows how to strut her stuff. What was cool was that the musical group Blaque (Shamari Fears, Natina Reed, and Brandi Williams) was also in this movie as 3 members of team Clover.

The music in this movie was excellent! And who can forget the Spirit Fingers! It's not a democracy, it's a cheerocracy!

Not Anthoer Teen Movie

HAHAHA! I enjoyed this one!

It had fun watching this. I think the USA Working title "Ten Things I hate About Clueless Road Trips When I Can't Hardly Wait To Be Kissed" is the best way to sum up the movie.

It's a spin off on all the movies mentioned in that title and more. What I just realised now is that Mia Kirshner is in this movie! I knew I've seen her from somewhere. She's Jenny from The L Word. Boy is she game now!

I don't know what everyone sees in Jaime Pressly. She's not that fab... but she was pretty funny in this movie! I loved the scene where they were making fun of Bring it On ;)

It's a silly twisted teen flick, but the fact that it pays out all the others, makes it really funny!
